DC NATIONAL MALL DETAILS: At the West Potomac Park Polo Field, between the Lincoln Memorial & the Potomac River.  

 No tickets will be sold at the gate to Land Rover America's Polo Cup Preview Kick Off.  Valid Identification will be checked at the gate and tickets will be electronically scanned. You must have a valid ID to consume adult beverages.   Security Check Points at the VIP Tent entrance is guranteed.

Guest Polo parking will be available in West Potomac Park lots A, B, and C.   There is no parking on the National Mall.

 DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

From Washington DC: ( Travel Time: 30 Minutes)

Taking the I-495 towards Maryland - Then Take the River Road (190) exit and go west. Follow River Road 11 miles to the T-intersection. Turn left to continue on River Road (190W) and drive approximately 4.5 miles. Turn right onto Hughes Rd. and drive 1/4 mile.  ( Follow the LandRover Signs)

From Points North of Poolesville, MD

Take 118 South to Route 28. Turn left onto Route 28 (Darnestown Rd). Turn right at the light onto 112 (Seneca Rd.) going West. Continue straight about 4.5 miles on River Rd. (190). Turn right onto Hughes Rd. and drive 1/4 mile. Capitol Polo Club is on the left. ( Follow the LandRover Signs)

From points East of Poolesville, MD

Take route 28 going west (Darnsetown Rd). Turn left onto 112 (Seneca Rd). Continue straight about 4.5 miles on River Rd (190) going West. Turn right onto Hughes Rd. and drive 1/4 mile. Capitol Polo Club is on the left. ( Follow the LandRover Signs)

From points South/West in VA (Loudon County)

Take route 15N to White's Ferry Rd. VA-655 Whites Ferry Rd. becomes White's Ferry when crossing into Maryland (Check for schedule and fares). White's Ferry becomes MD-107. Drive approximately 1.5 miles. Turn Left onto Hughes Road. Drive about 1.2 miles. Capitol Polo Club is on the right. ( Follow the LandRover Signs)

Your e-Ticket, Credential if applicable and Valid Photo ID will be required to enter the Polo/Concert Field Venue - please be prepared for efficient and safe security check points. We thank you for your cooperation.  America's Cup & Journey for the Cure, reserves the right to refuse admission or remove ticket holders without giving a reason.

LAND ROVER OWNERS:

Guests who own a Land Rover and Drive it to the Land Rover America's Polo Cup will be allowed to park in a closer proximity in the Land Rover VIP designated area.

What is NOT permitted for 2009:

No coolers, No Pets, No Liquids, No self Catering, No open containers in parking lots, No Open Flames, No Tailgating, No outside alcohol, No BYOB, No Weapons, No Sharp Objects.

All guests and handbags subject to search.

All Alcohol and other liquids such as bottled water must be purchased at the Venue within the secured perimeter.

What is permitted for 2009 for General Admission or Concert Tickets?

Small Lawn Chairs, Small umbrellas, Blankets for lawn seating or polo field seating for the Concerts.

WHAT TO WEAR ON FOR FRIDAY NIGHTS ROCKIN THE RUNWAY FASHION SHOW?
LADIES & MEN:  Fashionable, Chic & Fun is the key for this outrageously fun evening of tasting the best of the best from Australia & USA at the Rockin the Runway Fashion Show.   Black Tie is Optional.  Personality is required.

WHAT TO WEAR ON SATURDAY IF YOU ARE IN A VIP TENT OR BOX SEATS?
LADIES:  Fashionable, Fabulous & Fun is the key.   Elegant Sundresses or chic slacks are best choices. Smart Shoes recommended such as Flats or wedges especially during the Divot Stomp. Hats are recommended with awards going to the best hats! 

MEN:  Proper Attire is expected through the afternoon. Seersucker or fashionable stylish outfits are preferred.   Spring or Summer Sports Jackets are recommended during the afternoon polo match.   America's Polo Cup Ties are available online for pre-purchase from Brooks Brothers.  Wear a America's Cup Official tie, and you will have front of line access to all bar areas.  

WHAT TO WEAR ON SATURDAY FOR LAWN SEATING?
LADIES:  Polo Country Fun is the key.   Comfortable and appropriate to sit on your blanket for Lawn guests.   Smart Shoes recommended such as elegant sandles or Flats   Bring a sweater if it gets cool at night during the evening concerts & fireworks show.

MEN:  Proper Attire for lawn seating includes proper shorts, and or proper jeans with  Button Down shirts, Polos or stylish sweaters.

Doors Close at 8:00pm - No Parking will be available after this time.
